EMERGENCY PASSPORT SERVICE

| In case of exceptional Emergency situations - i.e. death of a relative/ serious medical condition of any family members HANDWRITTEN PASSPORTS will be issued for a Limited Validity of one year. Applicants must provide evidence of the emergency situation. For any other emergency situations, applicants are advised to apply for passport to IP&VS centres. After obtaining emergency passport and before expiry of the limited validity passport, the holder should apply for Machine Readable Passport of normal validity with the required fee specified in the relevant section |
