The Government of India has now introduced Online Registration Form for all overseas Indian nationals seeking Passport Services. The procedure would now enable the Indian nationals residing overseas to obtain Printed Passports dispatched from India to all the overseas missions.

NOW ALL PASSPORT APPLICATIONS HAVE TO BE APPLIED ONLINE. ONLY IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS A HANDWRITTEN PASSPORT FOR LIMITED VALIDITY WILL BE ISSUED.
